Beata Stelmach new president of Totalizator Sportowy

The Supervisory Board of Totalizator Sportowy appointed Beata Stelmach as the President of the Management Board of Totalizator Sportowy Sp. z o.o. Ms. Beata Stelmach will assume this position on February 1, 2025.

Stelmach is an experienced manager and economist, whose professional career began in the 1990s. From 2006 to 2011, she was the head of the Association of Stock Exchange Issuers, and currently serves as the chairwoman of the supervisory board of this association. From 2011 to 2013, she also held the position of undersecretary of state in Donald Tusk's government, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her experience includes leading the Polish branch of the American conglomerate GE and working as a consultant at the World Bank.

Beata Stelmach sits on the supervisory boards of institutions such as Bank BPH, HSBC, and Bank Millennium. Her extensive management and economics experience may bring new energy and innovative solutions to Totalizator Sportowy in the gaming and betting market.

It is worth recalling that the previous president, Rafał Krzemień, was dismissed in a scandalous atmosphere following a personnel revolution in the company. As reported, all regional directors were dismissed and replaced with individuals connected to the current authorities. The Minister of State Assets, Jakub Jaworowski, announced that Krzemień was dismissed due to 'failure to uphold the highest standards' in the nomination process for regional directors, which affected the transparency of recruitment.

Totalizator Sportowy categorically denied reports of irregularities, assuring that all new individuals in managerial positions meet formal requirements. The recruitment process is to be based solely on the assessment of candidates' competencies, which underscores the company's commitment to improving transparency in recruitment.
