Revolutionizing Our View of the Universe!

NASA has unveiled the exciting details of planned surveys for the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, set to launch by May 2027. These groundbreaking observation programs aim to solve some of the universe's biggest mysteries, such as the enigma of dark energy and dark matter.

3. Galactic Bulge Time-Domain Survey

Focusing on the heart of our Milky Way, this survey seeks to observe hundreds of millions of stars for signs of microlensing — a phenomenon that could uncover exoplanets in potentially habitable zones, as well as mysterious rogue planets drifting through space.
