A recent comprehensive analysis has unveiled concerning trends in urinary tumors—bladder cancer (BCa), kidney cancer (KCa), prostate cancer (PCa), and testicular cancer (TCa)—revealing stark disparities in disease burden across 204 countries from 1990 to 2021. This study highlights a worrying increase in age-standardized rates (ASR) of disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs), particularly affecting men compared to women for bladder and kidney cancers.

In 2021, age emerged as a significant factor influencing DALYs for BCa, KCa, and PCa, with higher rates observed as individuals aged.
