Looking ahead, MoS Margherita is set for a diplomatic trip to Papua New Guinea on September 16, where he will represent Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the celebrations of the country’s 50th anniversary of Independence.

During his visit, he is expected to engage in crucial discussions with Papua New Guinea’s political leaders and the local Indian diaspora, further promoting India’s interests in the Pacific Islands after the landmark Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation Summit earlier in May.
