This means iOS 27 will prioritize software improvements that align perfectly with the new design.

Industry experts, including Ming-Chi Kuo and sources from Bloomberg, suggest that the foldable iPhone will debut next year, boasting a slew of innovative features like a crease-free display and an advanced liquid metal hinge.

The device is rumored to sport a robust 7.8-inch inner display and a 5.5-inch outer display, akin to an iPad mini when fully opened. Interestingly, it’s expected to replace Face ID with Touch ID for biometric security.
