Aiming High: Students Reach for the Moon!

In an exhilarating quest to inspire young minds, a Winnipeg elementary school has embarked on an ambitious project that merges creativity and science. The school's extracurricular club has recently launched a stuffed toy design initiative, aiming to participate in NASA's prestigious 2025 ZGI design challenge.

With a stellar lineup of over 20 guest speakers, including experts from the University of Manitoba's Robotics Team and an astronomer from the Manitoba Museum's planetarium, students are being equipped with invaluable knowledge and passion for STEM careers.

Club leader Gerullis is optimistic that this engaging extracurricular activity will ignite interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among the students, setting them on a path toward exciting careers in these fields.
