A Harrowing Collision in Grand Falls-Windsor

In a shocking incident over the weekend, a dirt bike collided with a pickup truck in Grand Falls-Windsor, leaving a young rider fighting for their life. On Saturday evening, emergency services rushed to the scene on Hardy Avenue after reports of the crash came in around 7:23 p.m.

Serious Injuries and Urgent Medical Response

The youth, whose identity has not been disclosed, suffered severe, life-threatening injuries from the collision. Paramedics quickly transported the individual to the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, where they are currently receiving critical medical attention.

Pickup Truck Occupants Unharmed, Investigation Underway

Fortunately, the people inside the pickup truck emerged from the crash without any injuries and stayed at the scene to assist authorities. The RCMP have since deployed a Collision Reconstructionist to piece together the details of the incident, closing off a section of Hardy Avenue for several hours for a thorough investigation.
