In a dazzling display of aerospace engineering, SpaceX has marked a remarkable milestone by completing its 400th successful landing of a Falcon booster on a drone ship! This impressive feat took place shortly after sunrise on Wednesday as a Falcon 9 rocket successfully deployed 28 new Starlink satellites into orbit.

Launch Details: The Starlink 10-56 Mission

Liftoff occurred at 7:10 a.m. EDT from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, with the mission dubbed Starlink 10-56. Approximately eight and a half minutes post-launch, the B1095 first stage booster, on its second flight, made a flawless touchdown on the drone ship "Just Read the Instructions" (JRTI) stationed in the Atlantic, east of the Carolinas.

A Journey of Innovation and Success

Most of SpaceX's 400 successful landings have occurred on another drone ship named "Of Course I Still Love You" (OCISLY), both of which joined the fleet in 2015. SpaceX achieved its first successful land recovery on land back in December 2015, paving the way for its first sea landing during the CRS-8 mission to the International Space Station in April 2016.
