Cselle's entrepreneurial journey is impressive; he previously sold his first startup, reMail, which focused on mobile email solutions, to Google. He then founded Namo Media, a native advertising company that caught the attention of Twitter, making its way into the tech giant's portfolio before Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter and subsequent rebranding to X.

Experience at Twitter and Google

Before embarking on his ventures, Cselle garnered experience as a group product manager at Twitter, where he played a crucial role in developing key features such as the home timeline and user onboarding processes. After leaving Twitter in 2016, he joined Google, where he served as director at Area 120, the company's incubator for innovative projects.

The Pebble Venture

In 2022, Cselle co-founded Pebble, initially named T2, alongside former Discord engineering head Michael Greer. Designed as a microblogging platform with a strong emphasis on safety and content moderation, Pebble attracted a dedicated user base and received investments from notable figures, including Android co-founder Rich Miner. However, despite its initial promise, Pebble ultimately faced hurdles in sustaining growth, leading to the platform's shutdown in October 2023. It briefly resurfaced as a Mastodon instance in November.
