The highly anticipated live-action reboot of Masters of the Universe has officially wrapped filming, and star Nicholas Galitzine is celebrating in style by sharing an intriguing first look at his He-Man character.

In an exciting Instagram post, Galitzine expressed his gratitude for the role, stating, "Well, that’s a wrap on Masters of the Universe. It's been an honor to take on the responsibilities of playing Adam and He-Man. I put everything into this role. There's not much I can show you yet, but I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created. Huge thanks to our incredible cast and crew!"

Though Galitzine's photo offers a tantalizing glimpse rather than a clear view of He-Man, fans can catch sight of some iconic elements from the original animated series. The image, taken from behind and shrouded in shadows, hints at He-Man's unmistakable hairstyle and signature Power Sword.

A Star-Studded Cast Joins Galitzine

Alongside Galitzine, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Camila Mendes as Teela, Jared Leto as the villainous Skeletor, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, and Idris Elba as Man-At-Arms, among others. Directed by Travis Knight with a screenplay penned by Chris Butler, this reboot aims to bring a fresh perspective to the beloved franchise.

To prepare for his role as the strongest man in the universe, Galitzine has dedicated himself to an intense fitness regimen. "I've been lifting all the heavy things to get into He-Man shape," he remarked in a Vogue interview. He also shared the humorous side of his transformation, stating he consumes about 4,000 calories a day to fuel the extensive physical training required for the role.

"I will eventually hit what’s called the cutting phase, where I might not be the easiest person to be around. So, apologies in advance for the person I’ll become in a few months!" Galitzine joked.
