The alarming event took place on June 30 around 4:45 p.m., near the intersection of 52 Street and Erin Woods Drive SE. Reports indicate that the suspect aggressively confronted the victim shortly after emerging from a Calgary Transit bus.
Without provocation, he launched a violent attack, hurling racial slurs at the victim, underscoring the hate-fueled nature of this incident.

Following the assault, the perpetrator fled the scene in a black SUV, speeding northbound toward 17 Avenue SE.
Description of the Suspect
Authorities describe the suspect as a male approximately between 5'7" and 6'0" tall, of medium build. At the time of the attack, he was seen wearing a dark baseball cap and a grey shirt.
