Liam's father, Chris Toman, describes their shock as they watched video footage showing Liam leaving the bar, engaging in conversation with others. "He accidentally texted me around 3:16 a.m. on February 2, seemingly trying to reach a friend who'd already left, telling him to 'Meet me outside','" Chris recounted, highlighting that this was the last communication they received from him.

Days passed without any word from Liam, and it wasn’t until family members were contacted by friends that they realized something was wrong. Police were alerted, deploying drones, patrols on snowmobiles, and thorough searches across the region renewed hope but yielded no immediate results. Sgt. Marc Tessier of the Sûreté du Québec detailed the extensive search efforts, stating they scoured the area for six consecutive days.

Immediately descending upon Mont-Tremblant, Liam’s mother, Kathleen, alongside his father and stepmother, diligently distributed flyers around the resort, desperately hoping someone had clues about his whereabouts. Kathleen expressed the emotional struggle of leaving the area after a prolonged stay, wishing she could remain indefinitely in search of her son.

A Disturbing Discovery

As the snow began to thaw in March, a potential lead emerged when a resort worker discovered a wallet containing Liam's identification. "Liam was careful about his belongings, always ensuring his wallet was secure. This find alarmed us, especially since it was located close to his hotel, intensifying our concerns," Chris shared.

With no sign of Liam, the family refuses to lose hope, establishing a website to gather information and urging anyone who might have witnessed anything to step forward. They affirm that this disappearance is out of character for Liam, who had recently graduated as an electrical technician and was eager to begin his professional journey.
