In a brazen act that has left a Brampton neighborhood shaken, two men are now behind bars following a midday shooting that could have ended in tragedy. The incident, which took place last month, saw gunfire erupt in a quiet residential area, narrowly avoiding any injuries.

Caught on Camera: The Shooting Incident

Peel Region Police revealed that surveillance footage captured the alarming moment when the suspects opened fire on a home located on Rolling Acres Drive. The shooting spree struck not just one, but two houses, before the culprits made a hasty escape in a black Chrysler 300 sedan.

Arrests Made: A Quick Response from Law Enforcement

Law enforcement wasted no time in tracking down the suspects. Twenty-three-year-old Gurpreet Singh, who had been homeless, was apprehended in Winnipeg on July 13 and returned to Ontario just this week. He faces serious charges including two counts of discharging a firearm and extortion.

Shortly after, on July 27, police arrested 20-year-old Husandeep Singh from Mississauga during a routine traffic stop. He now faces a charge of discharging a firearm with intent, in addition to extortion.
