SINGAPORE – In a move that will keep the party alive, Zouk Singapore, the city’s iconic nightlife hub, has clinched a lease extension that guarantees its vibrant doors will remain open until 2031! The beloved nightclub is set to kick off its new lease in June 2026, right after the current agreement wraps up in May.

Located on River Valley Road, Zouk first burst onto the scene back in 1991 at Jiak Kim Street and has since become the cornerstone of Clarke Quay’s nightlife, defining the party scene for over three decades.

Andrew Li, the CEO of Zouk Group, shared exciting news in a statement, confirming that while the lease terms for operation hours will remain unchanged, there are plans to supercharge the nightlife experience. Get ready for extended operating hours across several venues, making room for even more fun!

Zouk currently features three distinct spaces: its flagship Zouk, the sophisticated Capital aimed at professionals, and Phuture, designed for the young and lively crowd.

Looking ahead, Mr. Li expressed optimism about the nightclub's ambitious renovations, which will introduce new offerings such as food and beverage options along with live performances. These innovations aren’t just for show; they are aimed at boosting revenue and enhancing the overall guest experience.

This strategy comes amidst intense competition and changing consumer behaviors in the nightlife sector, where rising costs and a growing preference among Gen Z for more sober or diverse experiences are pressing venues to adapt.

After 2022’s thrilling comeback marked Zouk’s most successful year yet, fueled by the post-Covid-19 party surge, business has seen a slight dip in recent times. However, Zouk continues to elevate its game by hosting international talent like the renowned American DJ Illenium.

Zouk’s evolution parallels larger shifts in the Clarke Quay area, which recently revamped itself with a stunning $62 million project, transforming it into a lively day-and-night destination.

Having relocated to its current site in 2016 after 25 years at Jiak Kim Street, Zouk is well-positioned to continue its legacy as Singapore's nightlife powerhouse.
