According to the Central Disaster Safety Headquarters, the area impacted by the wildfire has ballooned to a staggering 48,000 hectares. To put this into perspective, this area is roughly 80% the size of Seoul, which spans 60,520 hectares.

Tragically, the wildfires have claimed the lives of 28 individuals, leaving 9 others in serious condition and another 28 with minor injuries, totaling 65 people affected by this catastrophe.
