Overview of Dubawi's Fee

As the 2025 breeding season approaches, Darley has officially announced its stud fees, and once again, Dubawi (Ire) holds firm at an astonishing £350,000—keeping his title as one of Europe's top stallions alongside the iconic Frankel (GB). This marks the third consecutive year Dubawi has retained this premium fee, underscoring his elite status in the breeding world.

Dubawi's Performance as a Sire

In the past year, Dubawi has proven his worth as a sire, boasting notable offspring including two British Classic winners: the 2,000 Guineas victor Notable Speech (GB) and the Oaks champion Ezeliya (Fr). His remarkable contribution to the industry was also reflected in his other successful progeny, such as Group-winning juveniles Ancient Truth (Ire) and Delacroix (Ire). Now at the age of 22, Dubawi covered 106 mares this past season, although his numbers are expected to decline in 2025.

Fee Adjustments for Other Stallions

Other stallions at Dalham Hall Stud have seen fee adjustments as well. Too Darn Hot (GB) has seen a notable fee increase, now priced at £90,000, up from £65,000. Additionally, Kildangan Stud's Night Of Thunder (Ire), another classic winner sired by Dubawi, will now command €150,000, a significant rise from his previous fee of €100,000. Blue Point (Ire) also joins the trend with his fee rising to €100,000 from €60,000.

Too Darn Hot's Historic Achievement

Too Darn Hot has recently etched his name into history by becoming part of an exclusive group of stallions that have produced Group 1-winning juveniles in each of their first two crops. His latest offspring, Hotazhell (GB), joined last year's Moyglare Stud Stakes winner, Fallen Angel (GB), in achieving Group 1 success through a stunning performance in the Futurity Trophy. Throughout this season, Too Darn Hot covered an impressive 160 mares.
