Earlier this year, after capturing the majestic Grand Canyon, Pettit reached out to Tafreshi, proposing a photo expedition to Madagascar. Tafreshi, captivated by the iconic baobab trees standing proudly against the starry skies, quickly agreed.

While Tafreshi journeyed from Boston to Madagascar's remote baobab groves, Pettit enjoyed a simpler travel route, floating around the International Space Station (ISS), 250 miles above Earth. During his seven-month mission, Pettit and Tafreshi collaborated on exhilarating photo shoots across four continents, capturing the raw beauty of our planet.
