In a heartbreaking turn of events, Aaron Boupendza, the talented 28-year-old forward from Gabon and former FC Cincinnati player, has tragically passed away after a fall from the 11th floor of a building in China.

The Gabonese Football Federation (FEGAFOOT) confirmed the news on social media, but details about the incident remain scarce. Boupendza was currently playing for Zhejiang FC in the Chinese Super League, where he reportedly died at his residence.

Boupendza made waves in Major League Soccer when he joined FC Cincinnati as a designated player in the summer of 2023, with a transfer fee of approximately $7 million.
