In a tragic turn of events, a four-year-old boy lost his life after reportedly playing with a lighter in a People’s Housing Project flat in Krubong, Melaka. The heartbreaking discovery was made at approximately 2:20 PM on May 16, as confirmed by the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department.

According to authorities, the young victim's mother recounted the moments leading up to the incident, revealing her son had been entertaining himself with the lighter before the unfortunate accident occurred. The boy, the fourth of five siblings, was found lifeless on the floor in one of the bedrooms, bearing signs of burn injuries.
