SINGAPORE – On July 1, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) proudly opened the doors to Weave, a stunning biophilic mall that's set to revolutionize shopping and dining in Singapore.

Spanning 20,000 square meters and boasting three floors, Weave is more than just a shopping destination; it’s a vibrant community space. With nearly 40 tenants planned, visitors can already enjoy diverse culinary experiences at seven operational food and beverage outlets, including the Middle Eastern WeWa, Chinese tea chain Chagee, and the beloved Taiwanese staple, Din Tai Fung.

Look forward to more exciting additions! Later this year, you’ll find a flagship Adidas store alongside dining concepts from Michelin-starred chef Paul Pairet—French bistro Moutarde and the ice-cream paradise Sundae Royale, set to launch by the third quarter of 2025. Plus, internationally renowned pastry chef Pierre Hermé will debut his first Singapore outlet at Weave on August 1.

Strategically located next to iconic attractions such as Universal Studios Singapore and the Singapore Oceanarium, Weave replaces the former shopping area, The Forum. The mall's design, helmed by international architectural firm Benoy and local landscape experts ICN Design, emphasizes sustainability. With extensive greenery, including green walls and landscaped walkways, Weave stands as a testament to eco-friendly infrastructure.

Sustainable Features That Wow!

Enhancements have been made to the original roofing system to reduce heat absorption, while innovative cooling systems will utilize waste heat from RWS hotels to ensure comfort within the mall.

What’s Next for Resorts World Sentosa?

Part of a grander vision, Weave is just the beginning! A groundbreaking ceremony for RWS’s upcoming waterfront development was held in November 2024, with completion expected by 2030. This ambitious $6.8 billion project promises to add over 164,000 square meters, featuring exciting attractions such as a Super Nintendo World and a unique 88-meter-high mountain trail, along with new hotels offering 700 additional rooms.
