SINGAPORE: A chilling road rage encounter has left one motorist traumatized and on a mission to raise awareness among fellow drivers.

Randy Lee took to Facebook to share his harrowing experience, urging everyone to keep their car doors locked at all times after a Sunday afternoon incident in Toa Payoh that he described as a "nasty experience."

While patiently waiting at a traffic light, Lee was caught off guard when another man opened his car door and began yelling at him.

In disbelief and fear, he attempted to close the door, but the aggressive stranger clung to it tightly, preventing him from securing his vehicle.

"I tried to maintain my composure, not look at him or respond to his ranting, and kept trying to close my car door," Lee recounted.

Eventually, the man relaxed his grip, allowing Lee to slam the door shut and lock it just as the traffic light turned green.

"I was praying it would change quickly so I could drive away," he admitted, expressing his shock and fear over the episode.

Panic and anxiety can set in quickly during such unforeseen events, and Lee's experience serves as a cautionary tale for all motorists.

He even shared photos of the man involved in the altercation, who was seen climbing into a grey sedan with Singapore registration plates.
