Shocking Murder Trial Set to Begin: Man Allegedly Killed and Burned Pregnant Girlfriend!

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 20 — The highly publicized trial of a young man, accused of the horrific murder of his pregnant girlfriend, is set to commence on October 27 at the High Court in Kuala Lumpur.

The Deputy Registrar, Mohd Hirman Ab Raub, announced the trial dates during a case mention today. Attendees included Deputy Public Prosecutor Farah Aqilah Ahmad Fuad and defense attorney Nik Ahmad Burhan Nik Abdul Mubin, representing the accused, Muhammad Fakrul Aiman Sajali.

This trial is scheduled to unfold over several days, from October 27 to 31, November 3 to 7, and November 10 to 14. The court has arranged a final case management session for September 8, ahead of the proceedings.

Initially, the court had slated the trial to start much later, on February 23, 2026, amplifying concerns about the delays in providing justice for the victim, Nur Anisah Abdul Wahab, who tragically lost her life at the tender age of 21.

Muhammad Fakrul Aiman, 22, faces serious charges under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which could result in the death penalty if he is convicted. The young woman's brutal murder reportedly stemmed from a misunderstanding between the couple.

Gruesome details reveal that Nur Anisah was stabbed, her abdomen was slashed, and she was later set ablaze in a remote palm oil plantation located along Jalan Sungai Limau on the night of May 22 and early morning of May 23, 2023.

As the trial date approaches, many in the community are left reeling from this tragic story, which has drawn attention to issues of domestic violence and the dire consequences it can bring. Stay tuned for updates as this chilling case unfolds in court!
