Sergio Reguilon, recently released by Tottenham Hotspur, might be on the verge of a swift comeback to the Premier League. After an eventful summer transfer window at Tottenham, where seven new players were brought in, several key names—including Reguilon—found themselves without a club.

With Tottenham's roster undergoing significant changes, Reguilon, along with teammates Fraser Forster and Alfie Whiteman, was let go at the end of last season. However, it seems Reguilon is attracting attention as clubs scan the free-agent market for talent.

According to journalist Pete O’Rourke, numerous Premier League teams are eyeing the Spanish full-back as they seek to bolster their defenses. While Reguilon’s past couple of seasons have been less than stellar, having struggled to secure a regular spot at Spurs and facing unspectacular loan spells at Manchester United and Brentford, he remains a viable option.

O’Rourke elaborated, "Reguilon's name should definitely feature on the wishlist of clubs needing an experienced full-back, especially if they're dealing with injury woes. His status as a free agent means he presents a low-risk signing with no transfer fee involved.”

In other news, Fraser Forster, another ex-Tottenham player, is also on the hunt for a new home. Former goalkeeper Ben Foster recently expressed his surprise that Forster has yet to secure a contract, highlighting his potential as an ideal third-choice keeper for many clubs in need of depth.

With both Reguilon and Forster navigating the free-agent waters, it’s only a matter of time before one or both could resurface in the Premier League, eager to prove their worth once again.
