Students were directed to suspicious email addresses ending in ".temasekpolytechnic.online," raising red flags since official communications utilize government-registered domains.

In a proactive move, the Ministry of Education alerted parents through the Parents Gateway app, urging immediate deletion of any suspicious emails and cautioning against clicking unfamiliar links or making unverified transfers.

Similar warnings surfaced from various institutions, including the National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University, signaling a widespread issue.
