Samsung and MOONTON Games Collaborate

In a groundbreaking partnership, global electronics giant Samsung has teamed up with the celebrated game developer MOONTON Games to unveil a thrilling collegiate tournament for the wildly popular Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB).

Tournament Details

Set to kick off in April, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Campus Series will feature local competitions across key Southeast Asian regions, including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. This initiative aims to serve as a platform for aspiring student gamers, encouraging them to chase their esports dreams while strengthening the connection between academic life and the burgeoning world of esports.

Samsung is going the extra mile to support participants by providing each gamer with the state-of-the-art Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone, boasting the Vulkan engine designed to elevate gameplay performance. Carl Nordenberg, VP and Regional Head of Mobile Experience for Samsung Electronics in Southeast Asia and Oceania, stated, “We believe in providing the next generation of gamers with the best technology and opportunities to help reach their full potential.”

Eligibility and Schedule

The Campus Series welcomes students aged 18 and over from Southeast Asia. Qualifying matches will begin on April 25, 2025, and continue until May 18, culminating in regional finals throughout May. The final showdown will take place in Indonesia from June 20 to 22, with teams vying for a staggering prize pool of $40,000 (~£31,020).
