To add to its triumphs, a whopping 5,381 units of the 911-based racing cars have rolled off the production line, securing their place among the most manufactured race cars in history.

An interesting tidbit: these Cup cars are crafted alongside the renowned 911 series models at Porsche's Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen plant. The latest iteration, unleashed in the 2021 season, has already seen 1,130 units produced, with each Porsche 911 GT3 Cup taking under eight hours to build. Talk about efficiency!

The excitement doesn't stop there! Work on the all-new 911 Cup race car kicked off in January 2024 at Porsche Motorsport's Weissach headquarters. Talented drivers, including 2023 Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup champion Bastian Buus and FIA Endurance Trophy victor Klaus Bachler, took turns behind the wheel. This star-studded line-up also included Laurin Heinrich, the 2024 IMSA champion, and seasoned racer Marco Seefried.
