Selected by a panel of 96 top-tier automotive journalists from 30 countries, the award was fiercely contested among 17 formidable contenders in the Performance Car category. Yet, the 911 Carrera GTS emerged triumphantly, solidifying its reputation as a powerhouse in the world of performance vehicles.

Pushing the Boundaries of Performance

Innovative Hybrid Powertrain Makes Waves

The 911 Carrera and Targa GTS have been reimagined with a state-of-the-art lightweight powertrain, integrating an innovative hybrid system introduced in a significant refresh last year. This powertrain boasts an impressive output of 532 horsepower, courtesy of a compact 1.9 kWh lithium-ion battery that powers two electric motors. One is cleverly positioned between the 3.6-liter engine and the transmission, while the other is housed within the single turbocharger.

This unique setup minimizes added weight, making the new model a mere 110 lbs. heavier than its predecessor, allowing for an exhilarating driving experience without compromising efficiency.
