Exciting News for Residents!

More than 950,000 households residing in Housing and Development Board (HDB) flats across Singapore are set to receive U-Save and Service & Conservancy Charges (S&CC) rebates starting in April.

These financial incentives are primarily aimed at assisting lower- to middle-income HDB households by alleviating the burden of utility costs and S&CC, according to the Ministry of Finance’s announcement made on March 28.

First Quarterly Disbursement for Financial Year 2025

This marks the first quarterly disbursement for the financial year 2025, with additional U-Save rebates introduced to further support Singaporean families in managing their utility bills. These enhancements were highlighted during Budget 2025 and come in addition to the regular GST Voucher – U-Save rebates that many are already familiar with.

What Can Eligible Households Expect?

In April, assistance amounts to up to S$190 (approximately US$140) in U-Save rebates, a figure that varies depending on the type of HDB flat occupied. By the end of the financial year 2025, qualifying households could receive up to S$760 in total U-Save rebates!

Additional S&CC Rebates

In April, residents will also see an additional benefit of up to one month of S&CC rebates, varying based on their specific HDB flat type. In total, eligible households will enjoy up to three-and-a-half months of S&CC rebates throughout the 2025 financial year.

Ongoing Support for Citizens

This timely financial boost is part of Singapore's ongoing efforts to support its citizens, especially in navigating the rising costs of living. Is your household eligible? Make sure to check your HDB flat type to maximize your benefits this April!
