Starting in May 2025, visitors to Singapore’s renowned Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) can reserve a stay at The Laurus, Singapore's very first resort under the prestigious Luxury Collection brand from Marriott International.

Committed to delivering exceptional hospitality, the brand emphasizes historical significance and immersive cultural experiences that elevate any getaway.
About The Laurus
Nestled amidst lush, verdant landscapes, The Laurus boasts 183 exquisite suites, with deluxe and premier suites starting from a generous 72 square meters. Nightly rates begin at $1,200++, setting the stage for a lavish escape.
Renowned Bangkok-based interior design firm P49 Deesign, known for their exceptional work on properties like JW Marriott Hangzhou and W Hotel Samui, has been commissioned to create an ambiance of timeless elegance throughout the resort. Each room will feature luxurious bedding, curated furnishings, and sophisticated monochromatic accents aimed at offering guests unparalleled comfort and style.

The five-story resort will encompass not only beautifully appointed suites but also courtyard spaces, a function room, an outdoor swimming pool, and a state-of-the-art spa. In addition, a new all-day dining restaurant will provide guests with tempting culinary delights, making every meal a memorable experience.

RWS Expansion Plans
This ambitious vision comes alongside Genting Singapore's monumental $6.8 billion investment to refresh RWS's offerings amid growing global tourism competition. Recently unveiled attractions include the interactive art experience, Harry Potter: Visions Of Magic, which opened on November 22, 2024, and the captivating Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore, launched on February 14.
Future Attractions
Look forward to the highly anticipated Singapore Oceanarium, slated to replace the current S.E.A. Aquarium, expected to be three times its size and welcoming guests in the first half of 2025. Furthermore, RWS is currently constructing a waterfront lifestyle complex set for completion by 2030, which will also introduce two additional luxury hotels with 700 new rooms, expanding on RWS's already impressive collection that includes Crockfords Tower, Equarius Hotel, Equarius Villas, Hotel Michael, and Hotel Ora.
