This testing is crucial for confirming the capability of the hardware to endure electromagnetic interference, vibrations, and the drastic temperature variations of outer space. Specific tests will include verifying that communications antennas function without interference and that the instruments and mirrors maintain precise alignment after exposure to simulated launch vibrations.
