In a shocking incident that has riled social media, a man dressed in military fatigues was filmed giving the middle finger to a motorist after he brazenly crossed the road against a red pedestrian light in Hougang.

The encounter unfolded on September 11 at Hougang Central, where eyewitness Stomper Jav captured the unsettling moment and shared it with Stomp. He described the pedestrian as 'self-entitled,' raising eyebrows over his audacious behavior in uniform.

According to Jav, who identified the man as wearing a Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) uniform, the situation escalated after the driver honked to alert him. Jav noted, "He was taking his sweet time crossing the road after the pedestrian light had already turned red. When he finally made it to the vehicles, he gestured for the BYD car to stop and then flipped the driver off!"

In the footage, the traffic lights clearly switch to green for the cars before the man attempts to halt their movement. He then struts to the sidewalk, defiantly pointing his middle finger as he walks away.

This incident raises questions about public responsibility and respect for traffic rules, especially from someone representing the military. Social media users have reacted strongly, with many condemning the pedestrian’s actions while others debate the implications of such behavior in uniform.
