1. Good Friday – April 3

2. Labour Day – May 1

3. Christmas Day – December 25

And if that wasn't enough, three more will conveniently fall on Sundays:

1. Vesak Day – May 31

2. National Day – August 9

3. Deepavali – November 8

For those who find themselves working on a public holiday, rejoice! MOM assures that employees are entitled to an extra day’s salary at their basic pay rate, alongside their gross pay. But there's more!

Employers and employees can agree to swap a holiday with another working day, opening the door for more personalized schedules! Plus, certain employees can also benefit from time-off-in-lieu for working on holidays, depending on their salary and agreement.
