In a bizarre turn of events, a Malaysian man has found himself at the center of online ridicule after posting a rather questionable used sofa for sale on Facebook.

The sofa in question, which looks like it’s been through a war zone, was shared by Facebook user Vincelee Shuh Ming in the Bukit Indah Group. His family, preparing for a move, wanted to part ways with what they dubbed a "treasured family piece." The asking price? A mere 288 ringgit (about S$87).

"Whether it’s 'classic' or not, I don’t care — I just like this style," Vincelee boldly stated in his post.

While it remains unclear if he found a buyer before the big move, the listing quickly went viral, sparking a flurry of comments from amused netizens.

One commenter quipped, "I think you meant I would need to PAY YOU 288 ringgit to accept the sofa, right?" Another chimed in, "Was there a murder committed on it?" The dark humor didn’t stop there; one user joked, "If you send it to the cleaners, their workers will need to take medical leave."

Despite its dilapidated appearance, some viewers were surprisingly interested. One bold user even offered 250 ringgit for the sofa, but only if it didn’t stink.

The mystery of the sofa’s smell remains unsolved, but commenters are on the edge of their seats for updates.

Another user humorously remarked, "So ugly… But I still kinda want one." Clearly, one person’s trash is another person’s, well, questionable treasure!
