Liverpool Targets Alexander Isak Amid Newcastle's Bid

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano confirmed via Twitter: "EXCL: Newcastle submitted an official bid today to Eintracht Frankfurt for Hugo Ekitike! Proposal higher than €70 million previously offered, with negotiations already in motion."

While Newcastle pushes for Ekitike, it remains uncertain how this will affect Liverpool's pursuit of Isak. Sources suggest Newcastle is keen on retaining Isak, planning to offer him a new contract later this summer, as he is under contract for three more years.

Yet, top transfer expert Nicolo Schira maintained that Isak has been Liverpool's 'main target' since March. He noted on social media, "#Liverpool is still working on this transfer deal, even if #Newcastle has so far remained uninterested in offers."
