In a heartfelt reveal during the May 11th episode of TV Chosun’s 'Delicious Guys: Heo Young Man’s Baekban Journey,' actress Jeon So Min candidly shared her journey through the ups and downs of her career and her experiences with online negativity.
Having resided in Yongsan for eight years, Jeon declared, "I know all the best eateries!" She moved there on her own, driven by the desire for a view of the iconic N Seoul Tower. "Now that I live here, I feel accomplished. Seeing that view in central Seoul makes me feel like I’ve really made it," she expressed with pride.
Celebrating her 22nd year in the entertainment industry, Jeon So Min reflected on her origins as a magazine model at just 19. When asked about her dreams, she revealed, "I originally wanted to be a singer, but let’s just say that’s not my forte. If I had the chance to start over, I’d definitely explore singing again," bringing laughter from the host when he teasingly asked, "How bad were you that you gave up?" She responded by jokingly singing a few lines.
Recalling her time on 'Running Man', she said, "I initially appeared as a guest before becoming a regular for seven amazing years." Heo Young Man complimented her hosting skills, to which she humbly replied, "The male cast members often led, while I added a unique flavor with my quirky personality. It truly was a joyful workplace for me."
Addressing the topic of online hate, Jeon So Min was surprisingly open: "The more spotlight you’re in, the more criticism you face." She acknowledged that many comments lack substantial reasoning, revealing her introspective side by stating, "If there was a valid point, I would take the time to reflect on it. Lately, I’ve been thinking that maybe it’s time for me to marry—so I can have that stronger emotional support I crave."
