In the early hours of August 28, a terrifying fire broke out in a residential flat at Block 68 Redhill Close, leaving four individuals hospitalized.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) swiftly responded at 1:15 AM, battling flames that engulfed the living room of the fourth-floor HDB unit. Thanks to their quick action with a water jet, the inferno was contained, preventing further spread.

Rescue Mission Unfolds

Firefighters bravely rescued three conscious individuals from one of the bedrooms, who were later assessed for smoke inhalation and minor burns. They, along with another resident feeling unwell from an adjacent unit, were transported to the Singapore General Hospital.

A Precautionary Evacuation

In a proactive move, approximately 50 residents from the affected block were evacuated by police as a safety measure amidst the chaos.
