In a bold move, Indonesia has decided not to send any additional delegation to the United States regarding ongoing trade negotiations. The Indonesian government feels confident that they have thoroughly presented their case for open bilateral trade, signaling that it's now up to the US to respond.

Leading the charge, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, who previously led a delegation to Washington in April, stated at a June 13 press conference that the documents shared with US officials were "already relatively comprehensive." Hartarto emphasized that the next steps now hinge solely on a decision from the US.
