Singapore Police Force's E-Services Going Digital!
Attention Singaporeans! Starting September 8, accessing most of the Singapore Police Force’s (SPF) e-services will require either Singpass or Corppass. This exciting upgrade aims to bolster data security and provide a smoother, more efficient online experience for users.
Both Singpass and Corppass have become essential digital IDs for individuals and businesses in Singapore, making online interactions more seamless than ever.
What Remains Unchanged?
Not all services are switching to this new access model. You can still use your Foreign Identification Number (FIN) to apply for and pay for a certificate of clearance, as well as check the status of your application. Additionally, foreigners can use their Foreign Vehicle Number to check for outstanding traffic offences and settle any traffic fines.
Exclusive E-Services for Singpass and Corppass Users!
Several critical e-services will now only be accessible through Singpass, including: - Submitting medical examination reports for senior drivers - Applying for a qualified driving licence - Checking Driver Improvement Points status - Requesting certified true copies of police documents Don't wait; ensure you have your digital ID ready!
How to Get Started?
If you don’t have a Singpass or Corppass yet, fear not! You can easily register for an account directly on their respective portals. It’s that simple!
Website Refresh Comes with Changes!
Mark your calendars! The police’s corporate website will undergo a makeover on September 8. Expect intermittent disruptions from midnight to 8 AM as they roll out these updates.
This exciting transition marks a leap towards a more secure and user-friendly interaction with the SPF. Stay tuned for the changes!
