Eager residents couldn't wait – the first batch of tour tickets was snatched up in less than a minute! On July 5 and 6, the Shandong will open its doors to the public, allowing visitors to explore select areas, see cutting-edge weaponry, and experience thrilling training demonstrations.

A total of 10,000 slots are up for grabs – 2,000 for the Shandong and a staggering 8,000 for the accompanying destroyer Zhanjiang and frigate Yuncheng. Those with a Hong Kong ID can easily register for free via the PLA Hong Kong Garrison's WeChat account.

A Historic Occasion!
This marks the Shandong's inaugural public open house since its launch in 2017 and official service begin in December 2019. The carrier has participated in numerous military drills, showcasing China's growing naval capabilities.
