SINGAPORE — Big news for Singaporeans planning to head to the polls!

The updated voter rolls will be available for public inspection starting from March 25. It's your chance to check if you're on the list, so don’t miss out!

The latest update shows an impressive total of 2,758,095 eligible voters, marking an increase of 104,153 voters since the last update in April 2020, as confirmed by the Elections Department. This number reflects the current electoral boundaries that have been assessed as of February 1, 2025.

Why all this fuss?

The reason is straightforward: with new electoral boundaries in place, the Elections Department is meticulously preparing the Composite Registers of Electors. These registers organize voters according to their new electoral divisions based on recommendations from the Electoral Boundaries Review Committee (EBRC). Their findings, released on March 11, serve as a clear indication that the next general election is fast approaching, legally required to occur by November 2025.

Checking Your Registration

Before you head out to check if you're registered, make sure to await our announcement on the certification of these composite registers. For those eager to confirm their registration ahead of the updates, voter services are available online. Just log into the ELD website or access “My Profile” through the Singpass app to see your details.

Traditional Methods of Checking

For individuals who prefer a more traditional method, it’s still possible! You can visit any community center, club, or ServiceSG Centre, or drop by the Elections Department office. But remember, to facilitate your visit, ensure you make an e-appointment via the ELD website or by calling 1800-225-5353.

Overseas Singaporeans

And don’t forget, even overseas Singaporeans have the opportunity to check their voter status at Singapore overseas missions, which are functioning as overseas registration centers.

Mark Your Calendars!

With 2,653,942 electors already registered in April 2020 prior to the elections in July of that year, history shows that timely checks can make all the difference in ensuring your voice is heard when it really matters.

Stay tuned for updates, and make sure you’re ready to vote! The countdown to GE2025 is on, and every vote counts!
