On May 28, the highly anticipated candidates for the PV module procurement tender for a groundbreaking 300,000 kW solar project by the Xinjiang New Energy Research Institute were unveiled, signaling a tremendous leap toward sustainable energy.

Leading the pack is Huansheng PV (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., claiming the top spot as the first-ranked contractor. Coming in behind are DAS Solar New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. as the runner-up, and Zhejiang GePu Solar Energy Technology Co., Ltd. taking third place.

What’s at Stake?

This tender isn’t just any ordinary supply contract; it encompasses a staggering 364.6 MWp of cutting-edge monocrystalline silicon bifacial PV modules. These N-type modules boast a remarkable single-piece peak power of 580 Wp or more, alongside essential equipment like junction box wires, MC4-compatible connectors, and even tools and spare parts to ensure a flawless setup.

In addition to the equipment, bidders are also committed to delivering related technical services, providing a stellar 12-year equipment warranty, and guaranteeing peak power for an impressive three decades!

Delivery Dates Set!

The supply schedule is ambitious: 50 MWp of modules must be on-site by June 30, 2025, followed by another 150 MWp arriving by July 30, 2025, with all modules expected before August 30, 2025. Specific delivery dates will be confirmed through a written notice from the bid inviter.
