SINGAPORE – Get ready, travelers! ComfortDelGro (CDG) is set to revolutionize how you get to Johor Bahru with a new hotline booking system starting September 25. Now, you can easily book a cross-border taxi ride from anywhere in Singapore!

In a buzzworthy announcement shared on Facebook, CDG revealed that most fares for these rides will be a fixed rate of $80. Planning to catch a cab from Ban San Street taxi stand? It’ll only cost you $60, while airport pick-ups are priced at $120.

Expertly Licensed Drivers Ready For Takeoff!

According to a spokesperson, all 90 drivers equipped with valid cross-border taxi licenses will be on hand to provide this essential service. You can call them directly at the CDG hotline, 6552-1111, to secure an immediate booking or schedule your ride up to 24 hours in advance.

Upon reaching Johor Bahru, passengers will be dropped off at Larkin Sentral Terminal, the officially designated arrival point for Singapore taxis.

Meeting Growing Demands with Enhanced Services

This initiative aligns with ComfortDelGro's commitment to cater to the surging demand for cross-border transport options and to create more earning avenues for their cabbies.

Just recently, the Land Transport Authority hinted at further enhancements to cross-border services, including more designated pick-up and drop-off points.

Connecting Singapore and Malaysia Like Never Before!

With a robust reciprocal cross-border taxi scheme in place, up to 200 licensed taxis from both sides can ferry passengers smoothly between Singapore and Johor Bahru. However, each taxi is bound to officially designated areas: Larkin Sentral Terminal for Singapore taxis and Ban San Street Terminal for their Malaysian counterparts.
