The thrilling saga centers around Kim Dok Ja, played by Ahn Hyo Seop, who suddenly finds himself thrust into the fantastical world of a novel he has been reading. Armed with insider knowledge of the plot, Kim sets out on a hero's quest to prevent the impending doom that threatens this new reality.

Lee Min Ho stars in a dual role as Yoo Joong Hyuk, the protagonist of the novel, who is equally bewildered by his drastic change in circumstances. The latest character posters beautifully crystallize the transformation each actor undergoes to embody their roles. Desperate to garner Yoo Joong Hyuk’s trust, Kim Dok Ja fabricates a skill, declaring, "I can foresee the future." Skeptical of his claims, Yoo Joong Hyuk literally throws Kim into the deep end—quite literally—tasking him with the challenge of reaching Chungmuro station alive.
