In a promising update, manager Thomas Frank revealed that Dominic Solanke is showing significant progress in his recovery. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a little longer, as the striker will be missing this Saturday's crucial Premier League match against Brighton, along with next week's Carabao Cup face-off against Doncaster Rovers.

This season has been tough for Solanke, who has only managed to step onto the pitch for three substitute appearances, including a brief appearance in the UEFA Super Cup. His last full outing was during the team's 2-0 victory over City on August 23.

During his pre-match press conference, Thomas Frank shared optimistic news: "The good news is that he has returned to training on the grass and has been doing so for the past few days. Although he’s progressing slowly, he’s moving forward. However, it’s still too soon for him to play in tomorrow’s game against Brighton or next week’s match against Doncaster.”

In addition to Solanke’s recovery, Frank also commented on Kota Takai, stating that he is "very close to training with the group" after dealing with a plantar fascia issue. Unfortunately, Radu Dragusin, Dejan Kulusevski, and James Maddison are still dealing with longer-term injuries and will remain sidelined. Fans are eager for updates, hoping for a full-strength squad soon.
