To cancel the car rental, they faced a steep S$300 penalty. They mistakenly believed that their International Driving Permits would suffice. Teo expressed their disappointment on Instagram, humorously reflecting on how pampered they are in Singapore, where convenience is just a click away.

Adding insult to injury, the couple had to fork out an additional S$1,534 for Swiss travel passes, allowing them unlimited access to trains, buses, and boats. With seven bags in tow—filled with gowns, suits, and shoes for their photoshoot—their travel expenses had skyrocketed to S$2,000 (approximately US$1,565). Teo couldn't help but react with shock, posting about it on social media.

Despite the financial setback, Teo managed to stay positive. She raved about Switzerland’s efficient train system, noting that it became a silver lining in their travel misadventure. With designated luggage areas and a comfortable atmosphere, they were able to kick back and even catch up on work during their journeys.
