This year’s theme, “Ushering Fortune and Unity for a Prosperous New Year” (福满人间迎新春,灯照万家庆团圆), highlights a collective aspiration for a joyful, harmonious, and prosperous year ahead. The excitement is palpable as the neighborhood prepares for an extravagant display of tradition and culture.
Unmissable Festivities and Decorations
Chinatown is renowned for its dazzling decorations during the Chinese New Year, and it promises to be even more enchanting this year. Key streets such as New Bridge Road, Eu Tong Sen Street, South Bridge Road, and Upper Cross Street will be adorned with striking lanterns and intricate decorations.
