This year's theme—“Ushering Fortune and Unity for a Prosperous New Year” (福满人间迎新春，灯照万家庆团圆)—encapsulates the collective aspirations for a joyful, harmonious, and fortunate year ahead.

Chinatown has long been famous for its stunning decorations during the Chinese New Year, and 2025 promises to be no exception. Streets like New Bridge Road, Eu Tong Sen Street, South Bridge Road, and Upper Cross Street will be magnificently adorned with an array of lanterns and festive designs. Expect vibrant firecrackers, illuminated trees embellished with colorful lanterns, and gold ingots adding an enchanting sparkle to the atmosphere. A remarkable eight-meter-tall 'Tree of Fortune' will take center stage, symbolizing abundance, wealth, and renewal, resonating with the spirit of the upcoming year.
