Revolutionizing Business Knowledge Transfer
ByteEdge, a groundbreaking AI knowledge transfer platform based in New Delhi, has successfully secured $1.5 million in a funding round led by Japan's TRTL Ventures. This innovative startup specializes in turning traditional business documents into engaging, cinematic multilingual videos, aiming to enhance accessibility and understanding of crucial information.
Aiming for Global Expansion
With the new funds in hand, ByteEdge is setting its sights on broader horizons. Cofounder Akash Gupt revealed plans to raise an additional $3 million within the next four to five months to facilitate its expansion into markets like the US and the Middle East.
Addressing a Global Challenge
Gupt emphasized the prevalent issue of knowledge being trapped in static formats such as PDFs and PowerPoint presentations. "Many frontline employees, who constitute 70% of the workforce, often can't engage with this information effectively," he stated. By converting these texts into videos, ByteEdge hopes to bridge this critical gap.
Targeting Diverse Markets
India currently contributes to 80-85% of ByteEdge's business, serving over 30 global enterprises across various industries including finance, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce. But the startup sees immense potential abroad. Gupt noted, "The Middle East market lacks platforms offering localized Arabic content in video format, which presents a substantial opportunity. As for the US, it's a vast market waiting to be tapped."
Innovative Solutions for the Future
Founded in 2022 by Kamal Dutta and Akash Gupt, ByteEdge is poised to pivot business communication into an era where information is not just read but truly experienced. As they prepare for this ambitious growth, the company is determined to revolutionize the way organizations share knowledge and empower their employees.
