Level Lock+ Introduces Smart Lock Features with Matter Support!

In an exciting development for home automation enthusiasts, Level, the innovative company known for their discreet smart locks that are entirely housed on the interior of your door, has just unveiled their latest product: the Level Lock+. This advanced model is the company’s first to fully embrace Matter and Thread connectivity, setting a new standard in smart home technology.

The Level Lock+ (Matter) will support connectivity via Matter over Thread, marking a significant upgrade from earlier models which relied solely on Bluetooth or WiFi through a proprietary hub. This new capability allows seamless integration with a variety of smart home ecosystems, giving users more flexibility and compatibility with other Matter-enabled devices.

Great news for existing users! For a limited time, current owners of the Level Lock+ can receive a free firmware upgrade to enable Matter over Thread functionality. One standout feature of the Level Lock+ is its compatibility with Apple HomeKey, a must-have for Apple Home users. This feature distinguishes it from other competitors, such as the recently announced Nuki Smart Lock Ultra, which also supports Matter over Thread but lacks this crucial Apple integration.

Currently, Level offers two main smart locking solutions. The Level Lock+ comes equipped with a mechanized deadbolt and outer fittings, giving it the appearance of a traditional lock while delivering advanced smart functionalities. For customers who prefer to retain the familiar look of their existing locks, Level also provides the Level Bolt. This model is designed to replace only the deadbolt, functioning seamlessly with existing fittings.

The Level Lock+ is available in four stylish finishes: Matte Black, Polished Brass, Satin Chrome, and Satin Nickel, ensuring that homeowners can choose a design that complements their decor.
