The company, founded by Jeff Bezos, declared via X that they will not proceed with the launch due to 'thick clouds' and a technical glitch with the rocket's avionics system. 'We are scrubbing today’s launch,' the company stated, indicating that a new launch date will be provided soon.

This uncrewed mission, designated NS-29, aimed to transport 30 research payloads on a groundbreaking trip to simulate lunar conditions for a brief, but crucial, two minutes. The experiment was designed to spin New Shepard's capsule at a remarkable rate of 11 rotations per minute, allowing payloads to experience unique lunar gravity forces.
Of the 30 payloads aboard, a staggering 29 are focused on advancing technology related to lunar exploration—a proud step towards NASA's Artemis program.
